Today I’ve left for my wannabe RTW trip. The start hasn’t been very auspicious as I missed my plane. How did I do it? I wasn’t late, no, my parents had taken me to the airport in Rome and had left me there. I had plenty of time and slowly did the checkin. Then, boarding was a bit delayed, so, while I was waiting, I had the brilliant idea to phone an old friend of mine of whom I had lost the phone number long time before and I had obtained it back few weeks before by chance by meeting a common friend. I thought that she was a bit strange on the phone and so I got distracted from the reason why I was at the airport.
